Rose Mount Pathways School Discovery Room

Every child who walks past our doors has one thing in common. A mountain full of curiosity.

If there is one thing that keeps learning going, it is the environment that surrounds it. What makes education a fun play for every child at Rose Mount Pathways are its discovery rooms- a space designed to fulfill all that a child requires: guidance, motivation and a space built on curiosity.

What does a discovery room look like?

Designed to pique curiosity

Colorful, warm and inviting. Backed by child psychology and our 45+ experience in the educational sector.  we understand how a space’s look and design is key for better cognitive retention. In a discovery room, children feel like they are a part of a simulated environment. Designed as thoughtful and safe spaces, every child has the freedom to observe and learn in an immersive environment.

“Infants and young children also are keenly responsive to what they can learn from the actions and words directed to them by other people.” – NCBI

Thematic classrooms

Every discovery room is a reinvention of a mini-world. You’ll see story-books, portraits lined up in a  language room while a science room will be decorated with scientific situations at play. As children are made to experience what they’re being taught, it helps in long-term and solid retention. Far away from the conventional class structure, each discovery room educates children in the very environment they’re learning about.

What happens in a
discovery room?

No chapters, Just Holistic Skills and Concepts

Early Years education is seen as a springboard at Rose Mount Pathways where every child is excited to learn through discovery. You’ll see our discovery rooms operating through:

Skill-books «
Workbooks «
Rhyme books «

All of these work in tandem to give your child balanced, holistic and constant motivation that is reinforced, not just at school but also at home

Develops the child as an individual

Every child has a unique developmental pathway that is shaped by many factors. Our discovery rooms focus on understanding the child’s current knowledge level, understanding and skills before planning his/her/their next steps. All of our teaching concepts border around keeping our learners engaged to set a strong learning foundation.

Goes beyond reading and writing

An all-round development is what matters the most. We do so by imparting a mix of important life skills like literacy, science and mathematics while giving equal weightage to creative, emotional, environmental, and communication development. All our classes are conducted in English, where every child undergoes a natural transition to fully welcome the language.

Fuelled by freedom, energy and creativity

Once you enter a discovery room, you’ll be met with a burst of laughter and energy. Our mentors  are trained to fire up every child’s imagination. More than a school, it is a mini-world where every child is given a platform to make the most of these years, when learning is at its most powerful.

Why is Early Years education so important?

Almost 85% of the brain develops in the first 5 years. This is the time when the brain is an open vessel ready to inculcate all that it needs to make sense of the world. Who guides these young minds at this phase is important.
